
See who is playing when on our Second Stage featuring the very best Irish Trad Performers curated by the team at Birmingham TradFest.
Saturday 26th August
First up and opening the entertainment for the day will be the Turleys Irish Dance School, performing from 1.30pm – 2.00pm. They’ll be followed by fellow Irish dancers the Scanlon School of Irish Dance, performing from 2.30pm – 3.00pm.
The trad musicians Orlaith and Brogan McAuliffe will be playing from 3.30pm – 4.30pm. They’ll be followed by Stephen McKee and the Sarah Markey Trio (feat. Dan Green and Shane McCarten) who’ll take to stage from 5.00pm – 6.00pm. Closing out the day will be The Canny Band, playing from 6:30pm – 7.30pm before the big Tradfest Finale from 8.00pm – 8.30pm.
Sunday 27th August
First up on Sunday will be the Madden Smith Irish Dance School, performing from 1.00pm – 1.30pm. They’ll be followed by fellow Irish dance school, the Annie Kidd Irish Dance School, performing from 2.30pm – 3.00pm.
The trad performances kick-off with Niall and Rachel Hanna who will be playing from 3.30pm – 4.30pm. They’ll be followed by Anton Davis and Liam O’Sullivan who’ll take to stage from 5.00pm – 6.00pm. Closing out the day will be Ciaran Coony as well as Shane McCartan and Aoife Cunningham playing from 6:30pm – 7.30pm. Ciaran Clifford will close out the Sunday performances before the big Tradfest Finale from 8.00pm – 8.30pm.
