The Saints Make Their Debut at The New Irish Centre

St. Brendan’s GAA played their inaugural home fixture at The Irish Centre on Sunday. It was a momentous day for the Kings Heath club who finally have a space to call their home since its formation in 1958.

Both their Senior and Junior team demonstrated an excellent display of football against Roger Casements. Though it was not their day, the fantastic support and community spirit at the brand new facility promise an exciting future at The New Irish Centre.

The Saints will reap the benefits of the new facilities which will be used to support the development of their men’s junior and senior teams, underage teams and their recently established women’s team.

Final score:

Roger Casement’s GAA 3-13

St. Brendan’s GAA 1-09

Roger Casements have secured their spot in the Semi-Final on the weekend of the 3rd September against St. Barnabas.

St. Brendan’s will meet current defending champions Sean McDermott’s.
