
With just under one week to go until Pairc Festival we are delighted to announce our timings for our secondary Irish music and culture stage which will Páirc Festival will celebrate the link between Birmingham and Ireland.
First to foot the bill on Saturday, is local dance school Kidd School of Irish Dance who are on stage from 12 PM, shortly followed by renowned local historian Prof. Carl Chinn MBE who will take to the stage at 1.20 PM to deliver a talk on Birmingham & Was There a Peaky Blinder Connection. Rigmarole will hold trad sessions from 2.50 PM and Twang drummer Ash Sheehan will take to the stage at 7.30 PM. Local legends LAMPA will perform at 9 PM before MAIN HEADLINER Imelda May performs over on the main stage.
First to foot the bill on Sunday is Scanlon School of Irish Dance who will be performing at 1.30PM. Next up is local legends On the Sesh at 2 PM to get the celebrations underway. Popular Irish band Sereno will be on stage 2.45 until early evening and If you missed him on Saturday, Prof. Carl Chinn MBE will be on stage from 5.45. Local bands On The Sesh 7.15 PM and Cairde 8.45 PM will perform in the evening before MAIN HEADLINER Nathan Carter rounds off the celebrations over on the main stage.
