The Sharon Shannon Trio plays Páirc Festival on Sunday 28th August, taking place on the grounds of The New Irish Centre, Birmingham.

We are so excited to announce The Sharon Shannon Trio as part of our 2022 line up for the biggest celebration of Irish music and culture in the UK!

The Sharon Shannon Trio join Sunday line up that includes Finbar Furey, Nathan Carter, The Dublin Legends, The Kilkennys, On The Sesh, Bang on the Ear and Cairde.

Sharon Shannon likes to surprise! Alongside her arrangements of traditional Irish tunes and Irish-influenced compositions, she has always been eager to try new styles. She is known for making the accordion “cool” again, and for her extensive collaborations, not just in Irish music but hip-hop, country, cajun, reggae, classical and rap too! Sharon Shannon is also noted for being the youngest ever recipient of the Meteor Lifetime Achievement Award!
