Bang on the Ear play Páirc Festival on Sunday 28th August, taking place on the grounds of The New Irish Centre, Birmingham.

We are looking forward to welcoming Bang on the Ear to our 2022 line up for the biggest celebration of Irish music and culture in the UK!

Bang on the Ear join Sunday’s line up that includes Finbar Furey, Nathan Carter, The Sharon Shannon Trio, The Dublin Legends, The Kilkennys, On The Sesh and Cairde.

Bang on the Ear have specialised in upbeat traditional and contemporary Irish/Celtic Folk Rock songs since forming in 1996, and when they play, a “foot stomping time will be had by all.” The band hail from Birmingham and the Black Country, with Kelvin (singer/guitarist) and Jez (violin) meeting when they worked together in a guitar shop, with Jez introducing traditional Irish music to their repertoire.
