Páirc Festival is the biggest celebration of Irish music and culture taking place on August Bank Holiday, in Birmingham UK!

Our 2022 line up included INTERNATIONAL headline acts Finbar Furey, Nathan Carter, Hot House Flowers, Beoga, Damien Dempsey, Sharon Shannon – who joined the biggest names in contemporary and traditional Irish music!

In 2023, Páirc Festival will bring multiple performances to the outdoor grounds of the New Irish Centre in Kings Heath, in the former Stadium Club, on 26th – 28th August 2023, bringing the best Birmingham, Irish, and Birmingham Irish musical talent together for a celebration like no other.

Where is Páirc Festival?

Páirc Festival is taking place in the outdoor grounds of the Irish Centre, Kings Heath, Birmingham. The festival address is 205 Wheelers Lane, King’s Heath, Birmingham B13 0ST

Can I buy a ticket on the day?

Usually tickets are available on the day for purchase at the Box Office outside the festival entrance, however, a sell-out is expected this year so we do not expect there to be availability and recommend advance purchase.

Is there disabled access?

The festival site has accessible toilets and we offer a free carers ticket to anyone who is in receipt of PIP (proof needed). 

There is a sectioned off viewing platform available and hard surface on entry and exit points.

The festival site is set on outdoor grounds and whilst we offer wheelchair access with central and side concrete paths, please be aware that the ground may be uneven in certain places.

Is there parking at the festival?

There are 100 spaces available at The Billesley pub, Brook Ln, King’s Heath, Birmingham B13 0AB, £5 per space. First come first served.

There are 600 spaces available at Moseley Rugby Club too. Billesley Common, Yardley Wood Rd, Birmingham B13 0PT

Is there a drop off point for Pairc?

The drop off point is at Swanshurt School (B13 0TW)

How do I get to the festival?

Páirc Festival is taking place in Kings Heath and can be accessed via public transport.

 

By Bus

Depending on the starting location, there are many bus routes close to the festival site, including:

Birmingham City Centre – the number 2 bus towards Maypole from Moor Street Queensway will get you to Billesley Common, where it will be a 13 minute walk. 

You can also get the number 3 bus towards Yardley Wood from Moor Street Queensway, and walk 14 minutes from Mayford Grove. 

Solihull – the number 76 bus towards Northfield, from Solihull Station Interchange, will take you to Ardencote Road, where it will be a 6 minute walk. 

Birmingham Airport – get on the X12 bus towards Solihull, then change at Solihull Interchange for the 76 towards Northfield.

 

By Train

Yardley Wood is the closest station in proximity to the festival site, but will require a 30 minute walk.

 

Where are my Páirc Festival tickets?

Tickets are emailed three weeks before the event.

Haven’t had a confirmation email?

Please double check the email address you have entered for confirmation. You can do this by logging into your account on the TicketSellers website.

If you click on ‘my orders’ you should be able to see your order and the details there. If you still cannot see your order, please call Ticket Sellers directly on 01214726688 and they can have a look at what’s gone wrong here.

What is the policy for children at the Festival?

All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to the festival and should be supervised at all times. Under 5’s tickets can be booked free of charge online. 

 

 

Can I camp at the festival?

Páirc Festival is not a camping festival, however, there are many hotels nearby. 

 

 

 

What time can I access the Festival site? 

The Festival Doors open at 11am, music will begin at 12 pm. Entertainment will finish at 10.30pm and the event finishes at 11pm.

 

 

 

 

Can I bring my own food to the festival?

Unfortunately, no food or drink is permitted into the festival site, with the exception of baby food and sealed water bottles. However, there will be a large variety of street food traders & bars on-site to suit all food and drink preferences. 

 

 

Will there be a set list available?

Finalised stage times will be released approximately one month before the event date.

 

 

 

Security entry process?

For the safety of all guests and staff, a thorough bag check will take place upon each entry. Any alcohol found upon the search process will be disposed of. 

 

 

 

 

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately not. Only guide dogs are allowed on-site.

 

 

What happens if the event is canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic?

All tickets are automatically transferred to the new rescheduled date, however, if this date is not suitable, you can request a refund.

Cabana 

Private Cabana with booth seating and amazing stage views. Seats up to 10 people. Waitress service, posh toilet access, festival food nibbles, souvenir t-shirt and own security within the area! Minimum bar spend commitment £500.00
