Everything You Need To Know Ahead Of Páirc Festival!

With Páirc Festival on the horizon, now is the time to make sure you’re ready for Birmingham’s biggest celebration of Irish music and culture! From Parking to Performance Times, here’s everything you need to know ahead of Páirc Festival.

Where Is Páirc Festival?

Páirc is taking place in the outdoor grounds of the Irish Centre, Kings Heath, Birmingham. The festival address is 205 Wheelers Lane, King’s Heath, Birmingham B13 0ST.

What Time Does The Festival Start?

On Friday, Páirc Festival doors open at 5:30PM.

On Saturday and Sunday, Páirc Festival doors will open at 11:00AM. 

Entertainment will finish at 10:30PM and the event finishes at 11:00PM.

Where are my Páirc Festival Tickets?

Páirc Festival tickets were emailed 10 days before the event.

How Do I Get To The Festival?

Páirc Festival can be accessed via Public Transport.

By Bus there are many routes close to the festival site:

From Birmingham City Centre: The Number 2 Bus towards Maypole from Moor Street Queensway will get you to Billesley Common, where it will be a 13 minute walk. The Number 3 Bus is also available, from Moor Street Queensway toward Yardley Wood, where it will be a 14 minute walk from Mayford Grove.

From Solihull: The Number 76 Bus from Solihull Station Interchange toward Northfield will bring you to Ardencote Road, where it will be a 6 minute walk to the festival site.

From Birmingham Airport: The X12 Bus towards Solihull will bring you to the Solihull Station Interchange. From here, the Number 76 Bus toward Northfield will bring you to Ardencote Road, where it will be a 6 minute walk to the festival site.

By Train: Yardley Wood is the closest station in proximity to the festival site, but will require a 30 minute walk.

Is There Parking At The Festival?

There are 100 spaces available at The Billesley Pub, Brook Lane, Kings Heath, Birmingham B13 0AB. It is £5 per parking space. First come, first served.

There are also 600 spaces available at Moseley Rugby Club too. Billesley Common, Yardley Wood Rd, Birmingham B13 0PT. It is £5 per parking space. First come, first served.

We also have a drop off point at Swanshurst School, Brook Ln, Birmingham B13 0TW.

Is There Disabled Access?

The festival site has accessible toilets and we offer a free carers ticket to anyone who is in receipt of PIP (proof needed).

There is a sectioned off viewing platform available and hard surface on entry and exit points.

The festival site is set on outdoor grounds and whilst we offer wheelchair access with central and side concrete paths, please be aware that the ground may be uneven in certain places.

Is There A Drop Off Point For Páirc?

Yes, the drop off point is Swanshurst School, Brook Ln, Birmingham B13 0TW.

Will There Be A Security Entry Process?

Yes, for the safety of all the guests and staff, a thorough bag check will take place upon each entry. Any alcohol found upon the search process will be disposed of.

What Is The Policy For Children At The Festival?

All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to the festival and should be supervised at all times. 

Can I Bring A Chair To The Festival?

Yes, you can bring your own chair to Standard Seating Areas. 

If you have a VIP Ticket, chairs are provided in the VIP seating area on a first come, first serve basis.

Can I Camp At The Festival?

Páirc Festival is not a camping festival. However there are many hotels nearby.

Can I Bring My Own Food To The Festival?

Unfortunately, no food and drink is permitted on the festival site, with the exception of baby food and sealed water bottles. 

We also allow for a packed lunch for attendees who have severe allergies.

There will be a large variety of street food traders and bars on-site to suit all food and drink preferences.

Can I Bring My Dog?

Unfortunately not. Only service dogs are allowed on-site.
